OfficePaths is a small utility that, when run on MS Office, locates and displays the folders that MS Office uses to store
information about itself and files and folders that it can open or create. It also displays which of the above locations are
the addins folder, and which are the templates folder. Note: OfficePaths can display the location of any folder specified
to be included by the MS Office application.
OfficePaths’s operator moded capabilities are currently limited to an interface that is similar to Windows Explorer. Any
additional moded capabilities can be added easily.

￭ Use the left and right arrows to select a folder name from the list.
￭ Select “Show filenames” if you want to see the name of the files in the selected folder.
￭ If you select “Find next” from the list of options, the program will search the next folder for files. If there are no files found, it will display the folder name in the list and the value of the “Search” option will be “Find Next”.
￭ Right-click on a folder name in the list and select “Open with” from the list to view the content of the folder.

￭ If your one of those who uses multiple accounts (and the standard install of OfficePaths hides the Addins and Templates folder, such as on my computer below), select “Recover existing entries” and restart to make it show the Addins and Templates folder.
￭ In order to display some of the content of the Addins and Templates folder, the application needs to be
modified to find the specific registry keys that control “Show in Explorer”, and then display the content of the folder and its content.
