I’m writing a python package, and I’ve hit a blocker with a test script where I’m using:

sys.modules[‘setuptools’].monkey_patch()
I’m getting the error:

If I remove the monkey patch, it works fine, so I’m guessing it has something to do with loading the python package – I can’t see how to apply the monkey patch.
