Developed by a team that has previously worked on hit titles like Moonchild and Warhammer 40k: Space Marine, Aldorlea Games will soon release their first game Girlfriend Rescue on Steam.
What sets this game apart is the fact that it is a mix between rogue-like RPG and traditional beat’em up, a recipe that was never tried before, and which results in a very unique gameplay experience.
There are no RPG elements to be seen, but rather a short story plot: your character will be trapped in an unknown world full of monsters, and your objective is to rescue your girl – or rather, kill the enemy(s) that took her.
The gameplay, on the other hand, is already pretty thrilling: you will have to make use of limited attacks through the use of a bar at the bottom of the screen, and using special skills to either increase your life, or damage the enemies of your love.
The gameplay will start out pretty simple, but then gradually introduce new skills and items you can equip at any time, making the battles become more fun and dynamic.
There are more than 30 different characters to choose from, each of whom has different sets of skills that you can equip, as well as different items that will enhance your gameplay.
There will be no random battles that can end in a time limit: in order to beat each boss, you will have to be very careful of how you select your moves, as you will have only one life.
The battle system is both simple and very cleverly designed: it will gradually increase the difficulty, and will even reward you with special items depending on your play style.
Besides the battle system, there are also different spell mechanics to enhance your gameplay: if you can cast spells on your enemies, they will be crippled for a short time, and you can even cast spells on your allies to make them stronger.
Lastly, there is also a story to be played through: just like any other RPG, the story mode will be a critical part of the gameplay, as you will be given various things to do, and in order to complete it, you will have to defeat enemies, search through containers and solve puzzles…

Set in a modern sci-fi world, Girlfriend Rescue will feature extremely beautiful visuals, based on pixel graphics, each of which will have its own unique texture.

Plot

This review is for Girlfriend Rescue.Download and Install
Using Steam, go to the store page for this game, right-click on the Girlfriend Rescue game in your Steam Library and select ‘Properties’, go to the tab named ‘Local Files’, and find the ‘Original.x64.exe’ file inside the ‘Local Files’ folder. Right-click on it, and select ‘Send To’. Windows will open a box where you can type in a name to identify the file, and choose ‘Send To’.

If you use Windows Explorer, simply type ‘Name’ (without quotes) into the search bar and you should find the file that you need to use.

Open the folder you just chose to open, and double-click the ‘.x64.exe’ file to start the Girlfriend Rescue.exe game.

Playing the game
Once you have started the game, you will be in the Castle, which is the main area. Click on ‘Castle’ to access the Castle. It is the first part of the Castle you will need to explore, so take a look around.

Click on the various icons to select them.

You can now click on ‘Create’. You should get the following pop-up message.

Girlfriend Rescue

This is where you will select a character from the list.

You are now playing as that character, which is the same as what you have been doing up to now.

So, you will need to check the boxes next to the characters you want to play as.

You can also click on ‘Girlfriend Rescue’, and then click ‘Next’.

Please be aware that the next part of the Castle is the Guildhall, which is locked. You will need to unlock it in order to start the game, which is easy.

Click on ‘Guildhall’. You should get the following pop-up message.

You should also be aware that when you click ‘Next’ in the last part of the Castle, the next area is the Dungeons. It is locked, but you will unlock the Dungeons when you complete the game.

Click on ‘Dungeons’ to access the Dungeons.
