I have a form on my website that is dynamically created so it allows people to log in and create a profile for themselves. What I’m trying to do is send a confirmation email when people click the submit button, but the only way I’ve been able to do it is by storing the email addresses in a database along with their username, password and a timestamp (for when the profile was created).
Then I’d have to retrieve all the emails from the database, find the ones that have a username identical to the one that’s logged into the system, pick the newest timestamp out of them, and send out a confirmation email to each of those emails.
