Still, the question does remain:
Why will Filipinos not insist on “vitality”?
A:
The answer lies in the negative result of a long period of colonisation and repression. Since the colonisation and the repression, a significant portion of people has lost or took away the true meaning of the word: alive, vibrant, among other. This has resulted in the loss of instinctive desire to be alive.
You hear even in the language itself: “ganap na”; “irapyong ganda ang tiya” (He is clean, he is handsome). When people said that about someone else, they also added: “yung sinasabi nang ganda”, “yung sinasabi sa kanya ng ganda”. They are saying that: “He is clean because he talks well, he is beautiful because he looks good, he looks and sounds good; he is clean because he is focused on the game at hand, he is handsome because he does not let his game be disrupted by the heat.
In the past, we had our “who is the fastest?” and “who is the best?” contests to celebrate people who made a living doing things at the most severe of times, and these would keep our adrenaline pumping. But as time past, those contests became more of a ritual of validation of whatever existing social status they convey.
When you have the competition “Who has the most powerful language?” Those are the kinds of competitions that enrich the level of social interaction. When you have the competition that you talk about: “Who has the best language that sings the best song?” Or “Who can form words the best ways that fully convey what you are saying?” That kind of competition translates to some sort of valor.
Vitality is just the opposite of that. It’s almost an act of defeat. It suggests that you’re dying. Going through the motions of life to feed the stomach, to keep the body going… or perhaps the mind.. But life itself. This is not to say that you have to volunteer to die. But even if you have to force your body to die just to live, you die.
You can be reborn as a butterfly and continue to be alive. But not so with the person talking to you.
A:
I think the difference is in culture. It’s more widely accepted and practiced in Japanese culture to have a personality who refuses to admit defeat. A better

I am trying to obtain the results of a query but the English does not translate into Tagalog. This is the code I used:
SELECT * FROM T_FRESC WHERE YEAR(T_FRESC.DATE_FRESC)=’2016-12-15′
A:
This will give you all the user profile that created a job in 2016.
SELECT * FROM T_JOB
WHERE DATE_JOB > ‘2016-12-15’
If you need to select the profile first, this will give you all the profile that created a job in 2016
SELECT * FROM T_JOB
WHERE DATE_JOB = ‘2016-12-15’
Now if you need to select the profile that created the job, you need to do 1 to 1 mapping as well.
SELECT T_USER.ID, T_USER.USER_NAME
FROM T_USER
INNER JOIN T_JOB USER_JOB
ON T_USER.ID = USER_JOB.USER_ID
WHERE DATE_JOB = ‘2016-12-15’ AND USER_JOB.JOB_ID = 1
I hope this makes it clear 🙂
Q:
Calculate value, when I am using API
I have a website on server with classic ASMX web service.
I need to add another feature, I need to be able to calculate value based on information from my database.
Now is table on server something like this:
ProjectId | EmployeeId | StatusId | StartDate | EndDate
I need the program to be able to calculate endDate – startDate. And it must be done by API
I can’t use UI. I need it to be able to send request to the web service.
In classic ASMX I use value keyword to get the value from my database.
Is this possible to do this?
Some pseudo code would help me a lot!
A:
I don’t think you can do that with a SOAP service. You need to receive a response, meaning you need to send the request to the server, which is a UI-interface.
However, you can do this easily with Silverlight!
I’m not quite sure if you want to use the ClientSide or the ServerSide. Here’s some code to retrieve a DateTime
