“The Tarnished Prince” is the second of three fantasy action role-playing games developed by Konami.
THE FIELD: Elden Lords, lead by the Elden Lord, rule the Lands Between. Any who take up the challenge, must explore the Lands Between and expand their territory.
DURING THE GAME: The main character, a Tarnished Prince, will take on the role of an Elden Lord and make the decision to put on the suit of armor. Once you make this decision, the game’s plot will begin.
POSSIBLE ENDINGS: Depending on your choices, the game’s plot will end up with one of four possible endings. These include: “Dark Dawn,” “Battle of the Sky Castle,” “Our Lord is Dead,” and “The Lost Hero.” These endings correspond to the difficulties in the game, where you have to choose the right path and develop the character.
A SPELL CASTER: NPC in the game is a formerly high-ranking priestess. She seems to be living off her friends in some unknown reason.
PROPELLER: Creatures that serve as companions of your own are called “propellers,” such as the humanoid birds, tigers, and other beasts.
EXCITING ENDING AND EPIC MUSIC: The game has a well-developed story with an exciting, epic ending that draws inspiration from the folklore of Southeast Asia, including the Bangli gods and immortal bird, and an amazing soundtrack. The soundtrack provides an old-style atmosphere and is thoughtfully composed.
