It is good to be a mom. Its a mixed bag. My son is almost three, and I am finding it hard to keep up with the constant changes. I am tired, and I have no energy. Yet he does not want to be on my lap or be in the crib. He wants to be with his big sister. He does not want to come down for meals, and he no longer wants to sleep through the night. He likes to kick the covers off and stomp around the room, and his voice has broken, with a deep bass sound.

I have never heard such a loud voice. I know when the giant trucks pass by the house, but I cannot hear the voice through the metal on metal. He has found out that there is a world outside of the house. I have had to develop an entirely new set of rules.

I need to send the boy back to school in another week or so. Maybe then, the three year old will want to return. I miss my little boy. I know I will miss my baby, too.

I need to go back to teaching. I can’t keep up with the kids, and I have to go back to teaching. It is a long commute for us, but it would be the best thing for me. It would take me back to the world of writing. I need to do that. I can’t be all things to all people. I don’t have the strength.
